TACOMA, Wash. — A driver died Saturday morning in a crash on State Route 509 in Tacoma, troopers said.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of SR 509 at Alexander Avenue East.
Investigators said the crash involved a semi-truck and a pickup truck.
Troopers said the driver of the pickup died at the scene.
The road will be closed as troopers investigate.
