The 19-year-old was already arrested for the shooting, but he didn’t appear in court and a judge then issued a warrant for his arrest.
SPD investigators and the U.S. Marshals served the warrant last week and recovered a bag which included a gun and ammunition. The suspect is a felon and unable to legally have a firearm, according to a blotter post.
The man was booked into the King County Jail.
