TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are asking for help in identifying a home-invasion robbery and sexual assault suspect.
Police say at 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 16, the suspect forced his way into a woman’s home at the Park Green Apartments, located at 5500 Cheyenne Loop Rd S.
The man was armed with a gun and attempted to sexually assault the woman, police said. He also demanded money from the victim and then fled.
Police said he came to the apartment complex carrying cleaning supplies, which were left behind.
Investigators are asking the area’s residents to check their surveillance videos for footage of the suspect and let them know if they’re missing any cleaning supplies pictured above.
Crime Stoppers of Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person responsible.
Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-222-TIPS.
