SEATAC — The Port of Seattle's Bomb Disposal Unit and Hazmat teams responded to investigate a suspicious package at Sea-Tac Airport Sunday.
Airport officials said around 3:30 p.m. that the package was safely removed for further investigation.
Port law enforcement officials closed the airport drives where vehicles pick up and drop off passengers. as officials investigated.
During the airport closure, officials advised that passengers could be picked up and dropped off in the airport parking garage for free.

"Traffic management specialists were sent to nearby intersections to help manage vehicle flow and airport busses traveled along airport roadways to pic up passengers who attempted walking to the terminal," the airport said in a statement.
Officials reviewed security footage and were able to locate the person responsible for the suspicious package. The individual is with law enforcement but charges have not yet been decided, according to the Port of Seattle.
