BOTHELL, Wash. — Police took a driver into custody Friday evening after they said he intentionally hit two pedestrians in Bothell.
The incident happened at Main Street and 101 Avenue Northeast at about 6 p.m.
Police said a driver went up 101st to Main Street and struck a pedestrian, then made a left and drove down State Route 527, hitting a second pedestrian. The driver then headed north on SR 527 and three people had to jump out of his way.
The driver stopped and police took the 22-year-old man into custody.
The two pedestrians were taken to the hospital.
Police said it is unclear if drugs or alcohol were involved.
