SEATTLE — On Saturday police told KIRO 7 that an arrest had been made in the July 22 homicide in Seattle’s Lake City Neighborhood.
At 4:45 a.m. July 22, police were called to 12500 block of 30th Avenue Northeast for a vehicle versus pedestrian collision.
The driver had fled, and a 33-year-old man was lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe there was an argument between the suspect and the victim before the crash.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Officer later identified the victim as 33-year-old Chance Daniel Hill. Hill’s cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, and the death was determined to be a homicide.
On July 24 a 41-year-old man was arrested and booked in the King County Jail on Investigation of Murder.
