TACOMA, Wash. — Police are investigating two overnight homicides in Tacoma.
The first happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Officials received a 911 call from the 900 block of N Pearl Street reporting gunshots in the area.
When police arrived, they found someone who was unresponsive and whose body showed signs of trauma. The Tacoma Fire Department pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

The Tacoma Police Department responded to a second 911 call around 5 a.m. reporting an unresponsive man in the 400 block of S I Street.
Police responded and found a male victim. Tacoma fire officials declared him dead at the scene.
Detectives are investigating both incidents as homicides.
