RENTON, Wash. — Renton police are looking for a silver Hyundai Elantra after an officer’s patrol car was struck Thursday morning.
Police said an officer went to pull over what they thought was a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Southwest 2nd Place, but the car struck the patrol car and took off.
The damage to the police car was minimal and the officer was not injured, officials said.
The Elantra that police are looking for has Washington license plate AQK3961.
Anyone who sees the car is asked to call the Renton Police Department.
