A man who was caught on camera urinating on a veterinarian’s building is a person of interesting that police would like to contact about a stabbing earlier this month in Ballard.
About 10 p.m. November 2, a man was stabbed in the 600 block of Northeast 45th Street. The victim reportedly confronted another man, who was slashing tires of several vehicles in the area, police said.
“During the confrontation, the 34-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest,” department spokesman Jonah Spangenthal-Lee said in a statement. “The suspect fled the scene and the victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
"Police later obtained surveillance footage from a nearby animal hospital, showing a man urinating on the building. Detectives consider him a person of interest and would like to speak with him about the stabbing.”
