KING COUNTY, Wash. — A man King County Prosecutors say is suspected in at least 13 burglaries in King County stretching from Lake Forest Park to Pierce County went in front of a King County judge Thursday morning.
Prosecutors say Daniel Nerocker was on pre-trial release for the incidents in Pierce County before he committed 13 more burglaries in apartment laundry rooms before he was caught.
Prosecutors say at one point, detectives found evidence Nerocker used a blowtorch to get inside the laundry machines to gather whatever money he could.
Detectives say he made off with as little as $10 in one case, and as much as $4,000 in another.
Police say there is another suspect who he worked with in one case, but that person has not yet been arrested in connection with the crimes.
Nerocker is now behind bars on a $50,000 bond.
