Police search for thieves after U-Haul truck left on blocks

MONROE, Wash. — A U-Haul truck at a Monroe business was left with a different look after all four of its tires were taken off by thieves.

The theft happened overnight Thursday in the 300 block of North Lewis Street.

Some cinder blocks were used to prop up the truck, the Monroe Police Department said.

Officials said the tires taken off the truck are unique and have something that IDs them as U-Haul tires.
