Police searching for arsonist who set fires at 3 Fred Meyer stores

KING COUNTY, Wash. — King County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who set fires inside three Fred Meyer stores.

Deputies said the fires were set last week at Fred Meyer stores in Maple Valley (1/1/22), Kent (1/2/22) and Renton (1/3/22).

The man has a medium to light complexion, brown hair with a widow’s peak, a tattoo on his left hand and a possible bruise or injury above his left eyebrow. He was wearing white shoes with black laces. The man is also associated with a dark four-door sedan, although he may ride public transportation.
