RENTON, Wash. — Renton police are searching for two men accused of robbing a jewelry store on Friday.
On Jan. 14, just after 10 a.m., Renton police were dispatched to an armed robbery at a Jewelry Exchange located on 2833 Northeast Sunset Boulevard.
Employees at the store reported that two adult male suspects entered the store and yelled “Everyone get down!”
One suspect was reportedly holding a black firearm while the other started smashing several glass display cases and taking the jewelry that was inside.
Police described one suspect as a Black man, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 3 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a gray and black jacket at the time of the robbery.
The second suspect is described as a Black man, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet, 3 inches tall. He was wearing a black jacket, gray sweatshirt and sweatpants, and black Nike sneakers.
