Police standoff reported in Sandpoint neighborhood

SEATTLE — Multiple KIRO 7 listeners have reached out to report a possible SWAT standoff near the Mercy Magnuson Place apartment complex in the Sandpoint neighborhood of North Seattle on Wednesday afternoon.

Police were seen hovering in the street, and had one woman in handcuffs.

When KIRO 7 asked the Seattle Police Department what was happening, SPD responded, ‘We are not providing any information at this time.’
