Poll: W. Washington voters give opinions on Trump, Clinton

KIRO 7 conducted a survey of more than 500 people in Western Washington. Sixty-seven percent said they’re going with Clinton. Twenty percent of those surveyed are Trump supporters.

How do voters in Western Washington feel about Hillary Clinton vs. Donald Trump?

KIRO 7 conducted a survey of more than 500 people in Western Washington.

Sixty-seven percent said they’re going with Clinton. Twenty percent of those surveyed are Trump supporters.

Of those polled, Hillary is the choice by 3:1 ratio.

Seventy-six percent of the women polled chose Clinton. Among the men, 56 percent said they’d pick Clinton.

Broken down by generation, 55 percent of millennials choose Clinton; 72 percent of Generation X members picked Clinton and 84 percent of baby boomers chose Clinton.

We asked Western Washington voters whether they agree or disagree with Donald Trump.

5% of Liberals Strongly Agree

On Trump’s Plan to Fight Terrorism:

65% of Conservatives Strongly Agree

20% of Moderates Strongly Agree

5% of Liberals Strongly Agree

On Trump’s Muslim Ban:

43% of Conservatives Strongly Agree

12% of Moderates Strongly Agree

4% of Liberals Strongly Agree

On Trump’s Plan to Build a Wall on the Mexico Border:

46% of Conservatives Strongly Agree

12% of Moderates Strongly Agree

1% of Liberals Strongly Agree

Those who participated were over the age of 18, registered voters and live in Western Washington.
