BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A popular Bellingham beach reopened Tuesday afternoon following a sewage spill.
The city announced that water quality testing confirmed bacterial levels at Bloedel Donovan swimming beach are safe for recreational use.
The sewage spill occurred on September 11.
The city says there are no impacts to drinking water.
