GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY, Wash. — Power has been restored to about 400 utility customers in Grays Harbor County after a driver allegedly fell asleep and struck a utility pole on U.S. Route 12 on Saturday.
The collision cut power to people in Central Park, which is east of Aberdeen.
The power was out for several hours until utility workers completed repairs, restoring power as of 4 p.m.
Traffic was also affected. The right lane of eastbound U.S. 12 at milepost 4 was blocked due to the crash.
Detours were set up.
No injuries were reported in the crash.
