ARLINGTON, Wash. — A pricey sports car hydroplaned and slid into a semitruck along I-5 on Friday night, the Washington State Patrol said. The Lotus was heading north near Arlington around 11 p.m. when it hydroplaned at 268th Street Northeast.
Trooper Heath Axtman said the car ended up sliding underneath the trailer, briefly trapping the driver. The driver was able to get out and was uninjured.
The semitruck was hauling a load of fish, the trooper said.
