SEATTLE — Crowds gathered at Green Lake Saturday morning for a peaceful protest.
The protest was called "Hands Around Green Lake.”
Organizers say the event is "a peaceful joining together to honor our community, the values we stand for, and our resilience as a nation."
More than 2,700 people were expected to attend, according to the Greenlake Boathouse Twitter account.
