OLYMPIA, Wash. — Toboton Creek Dairy is recalling all its raw whole goat milk products with “Best By” dates of Feb. 1 through Feb. 9, due to possible E. coli contamination.
Routine sampling conducted by the Washington State Department of Agriculture revealed the presence of the toxin-producing E. coli.
As of Jan. 28, there have been no reports of illness due to consumption of the recalled products, according to a release from the Washington Department of Health.
The product being recalled was packaged in half-gallon containers and were sold in stores in Yelm and Olympia, as well as on the farm.
Officials urge customers to not drink the product and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
