RENTON, Wash. — The Renton Police Department is looking for a driver who hit a dog walker, sending him to the hospital.
It happened on January 24 just after 9:00 p.m. on Talbot Road South.
Police say the driver was in a dark gray or silver crossover SUV, possibly a Kia or Hyundai.
Officers say the man was out walking his dog when the driver hit them and kept driving. The car was last seen getting onto northbound State Route 167 at 43rd Street by Valley Medical Center.
The dog ran home and alerted others something was wrong.
Officers say the man was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
Detectives are asking anyone in the area to check their surveillance footage to help find the driver.
