KING COUNTY, Wash. — According to King County deputies, a rescue has turned into a recovery for a 22-year-old man who fell 40 feet and died Wednesday afternoon while on the Little Si Trailhead in North Bend.
Deputies said the man was at the British Aisles climbing area with friends who immediately called 911.
Investigators said the man simply misplaced his step and fell.
Lifesaving measures were performed by medics.
