REDMOND, Wash. — Redmond police are sounding the alarm over a string of recent home burglaries.
Last Friday, Redmond PD put out the call asking anyone with information or surveillance footage related to an Oct. 17 burglary to come forward.
That burglary took place in the 18800 block of NE 68th Street in the Woodbridge neighborhood just north of Sportsman Park between 7 and 8 p.m.
A pair of burglars reportedly broke a sliding glass door, with security footage showing them dressed in dark clothing and hoodies while carrying a large bag.
According to Redmond PD, police have responded to four similar burglaries in the Woodbridge area in recent weeks and are urging residents to take precautions.
That means locking all doors and windows, turning on audible alarm systems, securing valuables like jewelry and cash in a safety deposit box, taking pictures of your jewelry to help recover any of it should it get stolen, and keeping lights on so that it appears as though you’re home.
If you see anything suspicious in your neighborhood, call 911 immediately.
Anyone with information about this case should call Redmond PD at (425) 556-2500.
