RENTON, Wash. — The Renton Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they say stole a purse from a woman in her late 60's at the Renton Transit Center on Oct. 4.
Police said that at about 1:45 a.m. the suspect "pushed the victim to the ground and drug her along the concrete while ripping her purse from her grasp."
The victim was treated at the scene by Renton Fire, but was not transported to the hospital.
The suspect is described as a white male, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with a medium to heavy set. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a dark shirt, a dark coat, light pants and a red cap.
Police say the vehicle shown appeared to have dropped the suspect off at the Transit Center.
