SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks completed a trade for Detroit Lions' defensive back Quandre Diggs on Tuesday.

The Seahawks are sending a 2020 fifth-round draft pick to the Lions in exchange for Diggs and a 2021 seventh-round draft pick.

Diggs was drafted in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of the University of Texas and has played both safety and cornerback in his career.

Current defensive backs on the Seahawks' active roster include Bradley McDougald, Tedric Thompson, Lano Hill, Ugo Amadi, Marquise Blair, Shaquill Griffin, Tre Flowers, Jamar Taylor, Akeem King and Neiko Thorpe.

Both Hill (elbow) and McDouglad (back) missed Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Seahawks waived offensive guard Jordan Roos to make room for Diggs on the active roster.

In 65 career games, Diggs has recorded six interceptions.

The Seahawks (5-2) travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons (1-6) on Sunday.
