HOQUIAM, Wash. — A dog rescue organization helped several puppies that were left outside the Hoquiam library earlier this week.
On Tuesday, an animal control officer with the Hoquiam Police Department received a report about newborn puppies that were dropped off in a box at the library.
It’s unknown where the puppies came from, but the officer brought them to the station.
The Harbor Rescue animal organization took them into their care.
The organization said the dogs are about four days old, and need help with their vet bills and supplies.
