SNOHOMISH, Wash. — Rescuers pulled a 9-year-old boy from the Pilchuck River Friday.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said the boy’s mother called 911 for help around 2 p.m.
The boy was at the river with his family for the day to cool off when his parents lost sight of him for several minutes and then found him caught in a snag under water.
His mother called for help and started CPR.
An airlift landed at the site and transported the boy to Seattle Children's hospital.
His condition is not known.
