ABERDEEN, Wash. — The Grays Harbor PUD is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible of vandalizing one of its buildings.
Officials said the Sumner Avenue Grays Harbor PUD Administration Building was damaged from BB and pellet gun shots.
"First and foremost, this is a threat to the health and safety of our employees and our customers. Fortunately these incidents have taken place at night or after business hours and no one has been injured, but the threat remains," said General Manager Dave Ward. "Secondly, each time a window is shot, the cost to replace it impacts the PUD budget to the tune of thousands of dollars. As a public entity, those costs impact our customers."
Police are investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Aberdeen Police Department at 360-533-3180.
