SEATTLE — An employee at a Wallingford drugstore was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend.

Seattle police said a man walked into the CVS Pharmacy on 2100 N. 45th St. at 8:39 p.m. on Saturday, pulled out a handgun and demanded money from the register.

When the man was told there was no money in the register, he fired a shot into the wall and demanded access to the store’s safe.

The man then forced the employee to open the safe at gunpoint.

After stealing the safe’s contents, the robber fled.

No one was hurt during the robbery.
