BELLINGHAM, Wash. — All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 were blocked in the Bellingham area for more than six hours after a semi-truck rolled over early Thursday.
The lanes have since reopened.
The Washington State Department of Transportation first tweeted about the crash at 4:30 a.m. The lanes were closed just south of South Samish Way.
Video from WSDOT cameras showed the truck on its side across the ditch and shoulder.
At around 7 a.m., WSDOT said crews were working to lift the truck with the help of two tow trucks.
By 8:45 a.m., the truck was upright and on the right shoulder. It has since been removed.
Shortly after 10 a.m., WSDOT tweeted that crews were cleaning the area after the crash.
The lanes reopened at about 11:10 a.m.
