SEATTLE — After the Rolling Stones postponed their tour six weeks ago so that Mick Jagger could undergo heart surgery, the band announced their rescheduled tour dates Thursday.
It includes a stop in Seattle on August 14 at CenturyLink Field. Tickets are on sale now at Ticketmaster. The lowest ticket price KIRO 7 could find was $190.00.
According to Rolling Stone, the No Filter tour was supposed to launch on April 20 in Miami, but will now kick off at Chicago’s Soldier Field with two shows on June 21 and 25.
Post-surgery, Jagger, 75, appears to be reinvigorated.
On Wednesday, he tweeted a now-viral video of himself dancing around an empty studio in front of a mirror. The rocker was strutting to the sounds of the Wombats' 2011 song Techno Fan."
The lyrics from the song are appropriate: "Shut up and move with me, move with me, or, or get out of my face."
Jagger was dancing just several weeks after he had surgery at a New York hospital to repair a heart valve.
