A runner was seriously injured Saturday morning in a car accident on Lake Washington Boulevard, officials said.
The accident happened just before 7 a.m. in the 2400 block of Lake Washington Boulevard South. Seattle Fire medics responded to the scene.
The 59-year-old male runner was taken to Harborview Medical Center is serious condition.
