EDMONDS, Wash. — Three scuba divers were rescued by a ferry crew near the Edmonds terminal late Friday night, Washington State Ferries confirmed.
A crew member on the MV Walla Walla noticed a scuba driver drifting under the Edmonds ferry dock around 11:45 p.m. The diver was being pulled by the tides and struggling to get back to shore.
Crews launched a rescue boat and found other divers in the water struggling as well. The crew rescued two divers with the boat and a third was thrown a life ring from the ferry.
A fourth diver was able to make it back to shore without assistance.
South County Fire gave the divers medical attention once rescued.
