SEATTLE — The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that the team will be requiring all tickets holders 12 years and older to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test to attend games.
In order to attend, fans either have to be two weeks out from their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or two weeks out following the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. COVID-19 tests must be taken within 72 hours before kickoff.
Enforcement will begin at the team’s home opener on Sept. 19.
“These measures will allow us to continue with plans to host a full stadium of fans, while still providing a safe and fun experience for our guests. We urge everyone who is eligible to please get vaccinated,” said Chuck Arnold, President, Seattle Seahawks and First & Goal Inc.
The venue will accept either the physical copy of your vaccination card or a digital version and is accepting PCR and rapid tests. No at-home, self-administered tests will be accepted.
In accordance with the state and King County mandates, Lumen Field also has a mask policy that requires fans and staff to wear masks at all times except while actively eating or drinking.
