A seaplane sank after overturning while attempting to land on Long Lake on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).
The pilot, who was the only person on board, appeared to be uninjured and remained with the aircraft after it overturned.
A KCSO boat was dispatched to the scene.
The pilot was later taken aboard a private boat that met him at the crash site.
KCSO said there were no injuries.
