SEATTLE — Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and Seattle-King County Public Health announced the expansion of free citywide coronavirus testing Friday.
The city said it’s focusing on bringing testing to Seattle BIPOC -- or black, Indigenous and people of color -- neighborhoods.
Black and minority communities have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
The city says so far, more than 80,000 free tests have been administered to people who live, work or regularly visit Seattle.
Currently, people need to register for a test.
