Crews with Seattle Fire and the U.S. Coast Guard Pacific Northwest were assisted by Washington State Ferry crews in helping someone who had fallen into the water near Colman Dock on Wednesday, Washington State Ferries tweeted.
The Seattle Fire Department had originally tweeted about a water rescue response in the 100 block of Alaskan Way South just after 9 p.m. on Wednesday. An adult male was in the water in possible distress.
With help from employees onboard the M/V Tacoma ferry, fire and coast guard crews were able to save the man from the water.
