SEATTLE — A police pursuit after a stolen car led to a dog rescue in Seattle’s Maple Leaf neighborhood.
According to Seattle police, an officer spotted a stolen car connected to multiple armed robberies throughout the day on Feb. 22. The officer found the white Lexus parked in front of a gas station near Northeast 65th Street just before midnight.
He saw the driver and passenger exit the gas station and take off at a high speed.
Seattle police said the officer chased the suspects until they started driving the wrong way down Roosevelt Way Northeast at about 70 mph. The stolen car clipped another car, causing the Lexus to flip over and land on its roof.

Robbery detectives are still working to determine if the suspect in this case is related to the other armed robberies earlier in the day.
