Seattle parking spot sells for $56,000

Frustrated with parking in the city?

An underground parking spot in Seattle just sold for $56,000, according to Redfin.

The spot is in a secure garage with 24/7 access in the 2600 block of Second Avenue.

According to the listing, the “large and flat” designated spot is walking distance to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and Olympic Sculpture Park.

According to Redfin, the spot originally sold in 2015 for $42,750, was listed for sale in May of 2022 for $52,500 and sold on June 1 for $56,000.

There’s also one more quirk. According to the photo listing on Redfin, the parking spot is next to a Delorean. Yes, the car from Back to the Future.

This isn’t the only parking spot for sale in the Seattle area, however.

A “128-square-foot” parking spot in a Capitol Hill condominium was listed in February for $50,000 and it “can easily fit a full-size sedan.”
