Seattle Parks and Rec. finds skull while clearing brush

SEATTLE — Seattle Parks and Recreation found a skull on Wednesday, according to the Seattle Police Department.

At 7:04 a.m., Seattle Parks and Rec. employees were clearing out brush in a fenced-off area. While cutting back the brush, a skull was found.

SPD was called and patrol arrived. The homicide department was alerted and evidence was collected.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office was also contacted.
