SEATTLE — April 25, 2019 Update: Seattle police released more images of the suspect involved in this case.

Officers with the Seattle Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who they say is suspected in a series of purse snatches in the Rainier Valley.
Police said a man approached women as they were getting out of their cars outside their homes and stole purses from them on four occasions from April 4 to April 9.
According to police, the robberies took place between 9:45 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. at the following locations:
-Renton Avenue South and South Webster
-Rainier and South Rose Street
-50th Avenue South and South Thistle Street
-Renton Avenue South and South 112th Street
“Investigators have obtained surveillance footage of a vehicle, a silver sedan with a moon roof, believed to be connected to at least three of the robberies,” Seattle police wrote in a blotter post.
Police said the man is in his late teens to early 20s, is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a slim build.
Anyone with information about the man is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department’s Robbery Unit at 206-684-5535.
