SEATTLE, Wash. — The Seattle Police Department has released pictures of the man they say stabbed a bus driver to death in the University District.

His name is Richard Sitzlack, and he is 53 years old.

Police say he was last seen wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt, a dark grayish blue jacket, a black beanie, blue camouflage pans, and dark sneakers. He was carrying a yellow backpack and a red shopping bag.

Sitzlack is accused of getting into a fight with the driver, 59-year-old Shawn Yim around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, before stabbing him multiple times in the chest.

Yim stumbled off the bus but succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

Police say Sitzlack is transient and frequents the University District and Downtown Seattle. Do not attempt to approach Sitzlack, he is considered armed and dangerous—instead call 911 immediately.
