SEATTLE — Early Wednesday morning, a driver struck and killed a pedestrian and then fled the scene on Aurora Avenue North, according to the Seattle police.
At 3:19 a.m., a 911 call reported a man was down in northbound lanes of Aurora Avenue North near North 76th Street.
The caller said they had been driving northbound when he saw a pedestrian fly into the air on the roadway.
Seattle Fire attempted life saving measures, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
Detectives developed a possible suspect vehicle description and are continuing their investigation.
