Seattle police are investigating a homicide after a 43-year-old man died from a gunshot wound in the Interbay neighborhood.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. Monday in the 3400 block of 15th Avenue West.
When officers arrived, they found the victim inside a recreational vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police provided medical aid until the Seattle Fire Department arrived to continue treatment.
The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital the following morning.
Seattle police searched the area for a suspect, but no arrests have been made.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain under investigation.
