SEATTLE — The Seattle Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects in an assault near Green Lake in May.
Police were called to the 900 block of North 82nd Street on May 31, after a woman saw two people outside her neighbors house.
According to police, the woman believed the people were casing her neighbor's home for a future break-in.
The woman then confronted the suspects, but was pulled to the ground by her hair. The woman sustained "cuts, bruises, and a possible broken nose during the assault," Seattle police said.
The suspects both fled towards Aurora Avenue as the woman's neighbors rushed to her aid and called police.
Police obtained surveillance video and describe the two suspects as followed:
- A white male in his 20s with dark hair, wearing a black jacket, a white hooded sweatshirt, long tan shorts, with a black backpack.
- A black female in her 20s, with bleached blonde and black hair, wearing a white hat, a brown/tan hooded jacke, and jeans.
Anyone with information on the incident and/or the suspect is asked to call the SPD Violent Crimes Tip Line at (206) 233-5000.
