Seattle Public Schools announced remote learning and a two-hour delayed start to the school day on Wednesday due to snow and hazardous road conditions.

Buildings will be closed, and there will be no in-person instruction, including preschool and Head Start. All Seattle Public Schools will offer remote instruction today, PreK and Head Start will not have remote learning. All morning and afternoon activities and athletic events are also canceled.

Schools will end at the standard early release time.

Families should expect instructions from their students’ schools, and students were told to ensure that their SPS electronic devices were prepped and ready for learning.
