Douglaston Development is proposing a high-rise tower for the property at the corner of 5th Avenue & Virginia Street. Douglaston offered the Icon Grill an extension until the middle of 2017 and discounted rent so they would have more time to find a new space, according to a Douglaston spokesman. The Icon Grill declined the offer, he said.
