Sedro-Woolley holding all-day earthquake drill

SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — There will be a lot of police and fire activity in parts of Skagit County Monday.

Sedro-Woolley is holding an all-day earthquake drill at City Hall and throughout the city between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

All city offices will be closed during the drill.  Regular business will resume at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

It's also possible that traffic will be temporarily detoured in some areas.

Skagit 911, Skagit County Department of Emergency Management and the Sedro-Woolley School District are taking part in the drill.
