NORTH BEND, Wash. — The driver of semitruck died after going off the highway during a medical emergency on westbound I-90 Friday morning.
Troopers said the truck went off the interstate near North Bend shortly before 2 a.m.
A passenger in the truck has bumps and bruises, but the driver did not survive.
Trooper Rick Johnson said the truck went down an embankment and would take a long time to recover. The trailer has to be unloaded first before it can be brought up by tow trucks.
