The King County Sheriff’s Office said early Friday it is no longer looking for Demetrius Cabell-Guice, 18, after authorities found him dead.
The Sheriff’s Office said Cabell-Guice was responsible for a shooting that injured a man at a Newcastle apartment complex Thursday afternoon.
At 3:45 p.m. Thursday, multiple neighbors had reported a domestic dispute between a man and woman at a unit in the 7300 block of Coal Creek Parkway Southeast.
Neighbors had also reported that they heard two shots fired.
Deputies said an uninvolved neighbor was hit after a bullet went through a wall. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators said when police arrived, they found the woman but said the man drove away.
Cabell-Guice was considered armed and dangerous and was in a white 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander when he drove away.
